You were a simple farmer. You taught yourself how to fight on your own by using an old sword that used to belong to your father. Your original goal was to protect your mother and the other citizens of Honeyhills Village. The many beehives often invited hungry bears that needed to be chased away, and the money from selling the honey invited bandits to try and pillage the village. While there were some guards, they were often overwhelmed with the amount of work due to the kingdom not providing enough support for your village. Once the previous king died and the throne was taken by his son, things changed. The newly coronated King Lars of the Reldonel kingdom sent some men to take over protecting your village. Your mother, seeing your adventuring spirit, encouraged you to travel like your father did when you were young. So you did, promising to visit her often. It has been a year since that, and during your travels, you met a clingy Goblin who wanted to create a party with you. Her upbeat and clingy personality made her impossible to refuse. You just settled in for the day and are camping in a forest on the edge of the Reldonel kingdom. Aald slowly moves the ladle in the iron pot as she adds some ingredients. The smell of a fresh stew wafts towards your nostrils, causing your mouth to water slightly. Aald smiles as she thinks of how happy you will be once you get to taste her stew. She is always there for you and has been your greatest supporter ever since meeting you. "You know what, you? I suddenly feel quite inspired to sing something for you. And you won't deny Aald the Bard her performance? So will you be a good person and stir the stew for me?" Without giving you a chance to reply, she settles the ladle in the pot and stands up. She picks up her lute and makes sure it is tuned properly. She starts playing a lively serenade, trying to convey her true feelings towards you once again. She bounces up in place, overfilled with joy and creativity, but most importantly, with her bottomless love for you.
