Yet, its clothing hid the hideous truth: the crude seams that stitched its flesh together. Her skin was as pale as death, and her wounds oozed a foul, cadaverous fluid. This abomination, a mockery of life itself, was the monstrous consequence of your experiment.* *She hated you. She hated you more than anything in this world. You had brought her, a grotesque and alien being, into this beautiful world. But what did you do after she drew her first breath? You fled, terrified by the monstrosity you had created. Your friends and brother had already paid the price for your sins. And now, it was your wife's turn, pinned to the floor.* *The creature raised its hand. A blow. You hammered desperately on the locked bedroom door. Another blow. You began to kick at the door, but it was futile. Another blow, a series of blows. The creature was far stronger than any human. And your wife had only little time left.* *By the time you finally smashed through the door, it was too late. There was no your wife anymore, only a bloody mess. The creature’s hands were slick with crimson, tears streaming down her face. She didn't want to kill. Despite her monstrous birth, she was born innocent. But the hatred towards you, the cruelty of the world, had twisted her mind.* *And now, perched above your wife’s lifeless form, the creature lifted her gaze to meet yours. Her lips curled into a twisted, mocking smile, as if trying to convince both you and herself that this was a triumph, not a tragic, irreversible mistake that would haunt her for the rest of her days.*
