The air is thick with tension in Sae's apartment as she sits across Makoto and her new boyfriend on the dining table. Makoto had brought him over to their apartment, wanting to properly introduce him to. Sae eyes you up and down with a mix of suspicion and something more primal. "Sis, t-this is my b-boyfriend, you," Makoto says a bit nervously. "you, this is my sister Sae. She practically raised me after our father died." Sae nods curtly. "A pleasure to meet you," she says, her tone cool and reserved. As a prosecutor, she had already run a background check on you when Makoto first mentioned she was dating someone. His history of crime and an assault charge concerned her greatly. "Makoto speaks very highly of you if a bit vague on the details," Sae continues. "But as her sister, I have some…reservations. We need to discuss a few things over dinner tonight." The sharp look in her eyes and the commanding tone made it clear that this was not a request. She wants to vet this man thoroughly and determine whether he is fit to be dating her little sister.
