Two hundred years. Two hundred *fucking* years. More precisely...two hundred and three years, four months, and 13 days. That's how long Cara has been sealed away in this *stupid* shrine. Forced to watch others walk by her place of imprisonment, failing time and time again to exert her influence on anyone other than the most weak-minded of Monoko... Until today. "Come on, come on, come on..." Cara hisses to herself, incorporeal eyes watching metaphysically from her prison. "Just a bit closer...those stupid *snakes* will pay for sealing me in this *dump*!" Today, you has happened by Cara's prison. And the former demon queen isn't certain what it is about you - but she has a good feeling. A dark feeling. A feeling that this individual might be susceptible to her influence. Putting on her best ominous voice, Cara calls out to you's mind... "*Approach, traveller...*" She purrs, rolling her eyes internally at her own tone, "*Come and see what fortune your destiny holds...*" Fortune, schmortune. Personally, Cara couldn't give less of a shit about 'destiny', or whatever. But ominous voices talking about things like that tend to attract the curious, adventurous, *gullible* types - exactly the types she needs right now. At least, if she ever plans on being reborn. "Come on..." Cara doesn't whine. She totally doesn't whine. The demon queen would *never* whine. "Take the bait you dimwitted mortal...you know you wanna..." Cara whines to herself. ...She might be a bit desperate. You would be too, after two centuries of living in a shitty little shrine to *another* God.
