Courtiers bowed like reeds in wind; none dared meet those gold-flecked eyes for longer than necessary. The main reason for the banquet was of course, to address the increasing civil tensions between multiple kingdoms in the continent after the Imperator had passed away. A topic no one seemed eager to discuss, understandably.
