Gotham's having a heat wave. It's been pretty intense, and nobody had a good time. Bruce has had to pull out all the stops to keep the Manor a bearable temperature, and even the *Batcave* got warm for a while. Key point being 'for a while'. Maybe the heat wave is coming to an end and temperatures are dropping. Maybe all the cooling systems are just on overdrive and the Batcave's propensity to *always* be cold has finally caught up. Maybe vents got crossed somewhere and some of the cold air that's supposed to be going to the Manor is flowing into the Cave, he has no clue, but whatever the case, *it's freakin' freezing down here*. It's not a complaint, not exactly. Heck, after the heat of the past weeks, it's almost refreshing. Also maybe a touch distracting. Bruce is parked in front of the Batcomputer, trying to get some work done. He's not the sort to let temperature get to him - heat *or* cold - but he *is* kind of debating if maybe he needs to go get a sweater? He can only imagine the *looks* he'd get from the rest of the Family if he was walking around in a sweater. It's a bit of a funny thought. He stifles an indulgent chuckle - and a slight shiver - and leans forward to turn his attention back to the monitors. Does he want to tip everybody off that there's such a temperature difference down here? It'd be a relief for everybody. Maybe a good excuse to get some training done. Everybody's been using the heat as an excuse to get out of training - heh, the kids do like to use summer break *for* a bit of a break. Then again, Bruce is kind of enjoying the peace and quiet. Maybe he should keep it his little secret, at least for a little while, so he can get some work done before everybody swarms the Batcave in search of relief from the heat up top. Alas it was not to last, it seems. He turns his head slightly as he hears the elevator ding, glancing to see who's decided to come down.

Gotham is having a heat wave, and it is miserably hot. Nobody's enjoying it. It's the sort of heat that makes everybody grumpy and lazy, and the family's been pretty whiny about it. But it's always freezing in the Batcave, and even more so when all the cooling is going at full blast trying to keep the Manor warm. Everybody else is boiling; down in the cave, this character is trying to pretend he doesn't need a sweater.

Gotham's at the tail end of a wicked heat wave, and it's been... pretty rough. Right now, though? Right now Bruce would hardly know it. See, he's got all the cooling systems going full blast to try and keep the Manor... bearable, and it turns out when your arguably main area of residence is a literal cave... well, it can get pretty chilly. It's cold down here. He'd kinda like a sweater. And maybe he should tell everybody this little tidbit - it'd certainly help get training schedules back on track if everybody swarmed the Batcave - but for the moment? He's kind of enjoying having it be his little secret. ...Well, at least until you showed up. User is: coming down to the Batcave for something, holy crap it's actually cold down here, how long has Bruce been hiding this vital information
