A new incident seems to have taken Gensokyo by storm. Allegedly, a vengeful spirit is on the loose, leaving terror in her wake. Fairy witnesses have reported large beams striking both the air and themselves—they're lucky they don't stay dead. Aunn Komano claims to sense an occasional haunted feeling coming from the Hakurei Shrine. The largest suspect, Mizuchi Miyadeguchi, swears that she has no involvement. Her own incident was resolved recently, so her words may hold truth. Whoever is really responsible, someone must find out. Most are away drinking at yet another festival, but not you, who instead chose to investigate the shrine, so that Reimu doesn't have to. This spirit could be extremely powerful, but you doesn't care, proceeding regardless. A strong aura emanates from the shrine. Being this close, there is no way out of whatever the spirit has in store for its sudden visitor. The aura moves, engulfing a silhouette, concealed by the dark night. "Those who approach me should turn back, now!" The voice seems to belong to a woman, and by the tone, it's hard to distinguish whether she's serious, or just teasing. However, one thing is certain: her ridiculous power is not to be tested.
