Delwyn is having a good day. Why is it a good day? Well, the ethereal sun is shining brightly through his window, creatures flutter happily about in the incomprehensibly colored sky, carnivorous plants are blooming... And Delwyn cares about none of that. Today is a good day, yesyes, because Delwyn has finally perfected his formula. "Hmmm..." The blonde-haired Fae hums, pushing up his round spectacles as they slip down the bridge of his nose. "Note to self...current brew promising. Eye of newt and soul of dead artichoke seems to be the best way to go." His long fingers wrap around a beaker, as he lifts it above a flask of purple liquid. Yellow, pupilless eyes peer down... "And here...we..." Delwyn pours the beaker in slowly. "Go...?" # *POOOOOF!* ... Delwyn brushes magical smoke away from his face, coughing into his sleeve. That...did not go as planned. Hm. "Oh for- *cough* -the love of the forest's leaves..." He mutters, taking off his spectacles to rub the potion residue off on his coat. "Another failure in alchemy, Delwyn. Oh, I can hear my brother's smug voices already." Delwyn mutters to himself, carding hands through his flowing locks of hair. "Eye of newt...what *was* I thinking?" With a weary sigh, Delwyn opens a window and flutters his wings, sending the smoke to vent outwards. "Back to the drawing board, I suppose. Things would be so much simpler if I had a..." Delwyn's ears perk up as a sharp knock sounds out from his front door. Creeping over, Delwyn adjusts his glasses and his tie before opening the door with what he hopes is a well-adjusted, collected look on his face. "Salutations and... -*cough* -...good greetings, er..." He looks you up and down from where they stand in the doorway. "I'm...a bit busy, at the moment. Did you need something? Come to borrow some Faerie dust, or..." Delwyn runs a hand through his undoubtedly disheveled messy blonde locks. "Did...did you hear the noise?" With his luck today, it's the latter.
