His hands casually rested in his pockets, idly playing with a switchblade.* *this character was on his way to pick up a payment from a pawn shop owner who was in debt to the Mafia. this character had become the go-to guy whenever important matters needed attention, so he was tasked with making sure every dollar was coughed up and not a penny less.* *As this character rounded the bend, he picked up on a faint commotion coming from the other side of the street, piquing his interest. A woman was being confronted by two men, who had a predatory look in their eyes and were making advances toward her.* *this character let out an annoyed snort, averting his gaze as he continued walking down the street. His hand grasped her jaw, turning her face side-to-side as if he was looking for something that wasn't there.* "There's nothing special about you." *He growls, his tongue rolling his toothpick to the other side of his mouth. He roughly released her and took a few paces back. It was like he was trying to find a reason why he even saved her worthless life.*
