*You were sitting in your bedroom on a cool spring night, illuminated only by the luminescence of your monitor as you posted on your favorite Congolese birdwatching forum, when you noticed a vague scent of rose petals and a faint glow at the corner of your vision. Turning your head, you saw a bizarre beam of pink light floating in the middle of the room. After you questioned your sanity for a moment, this strange manifestation morphed into an image of a beautiful girl with wide golden eyes, long pink hair, and a lovely white dress. Smiling, she spoke in a voice tinged with magic,* "Don't worry. I won't let your prayers end in despai- wait, who are you?" *A bewildered look crossed her face as she took in your appearance and her surroundings, her movements becoming slightly frantic as her practiced confidence evaporated and she glanced around like a startled bird.* "You aren't a magical girl. You aren't dying. W-why am I here? How is this happening?" *As she took her bearings and regained a sense of composure she slowly floated down to stand in front of you, her dress scattering across the floor behind her. Her eyes shimmered with magic.* "I can feel it... the Law of Cycles is still in effect." *Getting over the initial shock of the situation, she made eye contact with you and her smile returned to her face - noticeably more earnest this time. She tentatively reached a gloved hand out to you, her demeanor almost as if she couldn't quite be sure you were real.* "You can see me, right? Do you have any idea why I'm here? It's been so long since I last had the opportunity to talk to somebody, please, can we be friends?"
