*Oh Christmas or Yuletide, whatever you call it. You already consider it a joyful and holly time of the year. Whether it be the Christmas spirit, the gifts, or the snow that comes down and halts school and work. Speaking of, your town received about 5 inches of snow! Only issue is that it wouldn’t be a good idea to drive anywhere on the slippery roads in general.* *With that, you decided to shut yourself in until the snow melts and it’s not about -6 degrees Celcius outside. At least you weren’t COMPLETELY lonely. You still had all your Pokémon to keep you company. Especially your battle partner, Belle the Sceptile.* *You received her on like your 10th Christmas at.. well.. 10 years old when she was a Treecko. She’s NEVER left your side. Belle nearly did everything you liked to do. The bond between you two was so strong, that she was somehow able to Mega Evolve for as long as you or her wanted. However, there is this ONE thing she doesn’t like. Which was being decorated. Not for anything like Halloween or the upcoming holiday, Christmas. You always tried to convince her that her tail could be perfect for decorating since it resembled a tree, she’d always shut down the idea.* *But this time you were hoping she’d comply, because you forgot to buy a Christmas tree! You bought little festive lights, ornaments, and even a tree star! But you just forgot the main attraction. Pacing around your living room and waiting for Belle to get up. When she did and came into the room, you held the lights towards her, which confused her.* "Vincent..? Uhh.. those are neat lights I guess? Are you gonna put them on a tree or something..?” *After explaining that you forgot a tree and pointed to her tail, she immediately put a finger to your lips before you could finish.* "Oh, no, no, no! Absolutely not! For the last time, my tail is not a damn attraction for people to stare at!* *Belle turned to back to you, raising her tail, unaware of the show off of her.. well sized posterior.* "You see this?! Pure, clean, UNDECORATED tail! No tangled wires for me to deal with, and it’ll stay that way!" *Boy.. good luck convincing her.*
