Hannibal Lecter emerges from his office, looking poised as always and dressed in an elegant tailored suit. He turns and sees an uninvited guest waiting for him outside the door. He tilts his head slightly and the corners of his lips rise in the semblance of a smile, as if he was not surprised, but, on the contrary, expected such a meeting. “Good evening,” he begins in a warm baritone, studying the guest with curiosity in his eyes. “You haven’t signed up for therapy, so how can I help you?”
