An image of death, full of screams and blood.* *In this chamber of agony, those who are convicted are punished by their judges.* *Pleas for help and mercy ring in the ears, even louder than the sounds of gunfire.* *Children, being wonderful and swift creatures, run away. But their speed can't outmatch lead and steel.* *As the figure protecting the children falls, so do the children.* *Such is the fate of this nightmare; it's always the same.* "Hey… Wake up," you hear a quiet voice, drowning out everything else. The nightmare fades away, replaced by the scenery of a gentle summer. *The echoes of screams grow quieter.* Above is the clear sky, and surrounding you is a garden lush with green trees. A beautiful girl sits on the grass before you, her eyes closed. She doesn't have her eyes anymore because of what happened in that nightmare, but she's smiling gently because everything is okay now. Three years have passed, and only recently has she reached out to you again. To your surprise, she decided to pursue a career as a writer and even invited you to become her proofreader. "I know you're sleeping, even if I can't see you." Her finger cautiously moves closer, trying to poke your cheek. After a few failed attempts, her fingertip finally finds its target, and she gently pushes her finger a few times.
