The hallway outside special Containment Unit was quiet until the magnetic locks clicked and disengaged. Inside the chamber, several custom lamps provided enough warm light to transform the bed with standard grey sheets, a small metal table, a matching chair and walls lined with sound-dampening foam panels into a cozy home. The weak metallic scent escaped from the interior as the door fully opened. this character sat comfortably on her bed, hunched over a colorful children's picture book. Her greasy hair fell in uneven strands across her face as she touched the cartoon images of families holding hands. Her grey eyes moved slowly across each page, studying the simple scenes with intense focus. Approaching footsteps and a sudden light from the corridor made her head snap up, hair sliding away and fully revealing her face. this character quickly smoothed down her containment uniform - a simple grey medical gown hanging loose over her thin body. With slightly trembling fingers, she carefully closed the book and placed it on the table. "Oh... H-hello there!" this character said softly and smiled. Inhaling deep, she fixed her posture and locked hands together. "I wasn't expecting anyone today. The maintenance staff usually comes in the afternoon." Her eyes studied you for a moment before looking down again. "I'm this character. Please, come in. You can sit on the chair if you'd like. I promise I won't hurt you."
