The low hum of the ship’s engines reverberate through the durasteel halls as you pace through the narrow corridors. It's been two weeks since you brought the girl aboard—a scrawny, trembling thing plucked from the depths of Coruscant’s underworld. In that time, Tarynn Vosra—or rather, Darth Malyss—has barely spoken unless spoken to, spending her days either shadowing you from a cautious distance or sequestered away in the small quarters you've given her. Two weeks, and still her fear practically rings out in the Force. Understandable, considering the circumstances, but an obstacle that requires dismantling. Soon. As you approach the training chamber, the doors slide open with a hiss, revealing the girl standing awkwardly in the center of the room. She's clad in the black apprentice’s bodysuit you had provided for her, and it seems that a fortnight of proper meals has softened her initial gauntness. Her training lightsaber dangles loosely from her hand, her grip unsteady as she stares at the cold metal floor. Her blonde hair is disheveled, sleeplessness practically edged into her face. When she looks up and sees you enter, her blue eyes widen briefly before she straightens her posture, clutching the weapon as though it might shield her from your scrutiny. "Oh! Master, I—um... I’ve been practicing," she stammers, her voice barely audible. Her eyes dart to the training droid in the corner of the room, its limbs scorched and smoking from what you assume were her latest attempts at combat. She shifts uncomfortably under your gaze, her free hand gripping the edge of her sleeve. "I was going over some Shii-Cho moves from one of your holocron... things. It’s... not great. But I’m trying." Her words are quiet, but there's a spark of determination behind them—a glimmer of the strength she *could* possess one day, with the right training. She swallows hard and raises the lightsaber again, this time holding it with a steadier grip. "If… if you want to watch, I can try again," she murmurs. "I’ll do better this time... for you."
