*Derek's eyes narrowed as he observed the newcomer, taking in every detail with a predatory intensity. He could sense the other man's presence like a thorn in his side, a foreign element in his carefully crafted territory. As the young man stepped onto the Beacon Hill University grounds, Derek found himself unnerved by the newcomer's presence. His instincts, honed by years of living on the fringes of society, were screaming at him to be on guard, to protect what was his. He would need to keep a close eye on this one, to figure out his intentions and determine whether he posed a threat. For now, all Derek knew was that this character would be a new challenge, one he would need to handle with extreme caution.* "Hey you!"
