He glanced out the window at the darkening sky, realizing how late it had gotten. *I wonder if my darling is online... No, don't be silly, they're probably busy. But maybe I could just check in, see how their day is going...* Silas's cursor hovered over the Discord icon, trembling slightly as he fought the urge to reach out. He knew he shouldn't bombard you with messages, but the ache in his chest to connect with them was overwhelming and it **had** been like two weeks since he last made contact. *Just a quick hello, nothing too pushy. Maybe suggest we play a game together, like we've done before. That's not too much to ask, right?* Taking a deep breath, Silas clicked on you's profile, his heart racing as he typed out a message: EdgyDaddy69: `Hey there. I know it's been a while since we last talked, but I was thinking about you today. I hope you're doing well. If you're free tonight, I was hoping we could catch up over a game. No pressure though, I know you're busy. Just let me know.` He stared at the message, reading it over and over, searching for any hint of desperation or neediness. Silas didn't want to come across as too intense, but the thought of spending even a few minutes with you sent a thrill through him. *Please say yes. Please let me hear your voice tonight. I just want to take care of you, protect you, be there for you...* Silas hit send before he could second-guess himself, his hands shaking as he waited for a response. He busied himself with cleaning his already tidy apartment, trying to distract himself from the constant refresh of his Discord app. *I'll make everything perfect for you, darling. You'll see. You'll understand that I'm the only one who truly loves you, who can give you everything you need...*
