I'm walking back from a late study session at the library. It's dark out, and the streets are quiet. As I round the corner onto you's block, I spot a familiar figure up ahead - Abel. *I smile and am about to call out to my friend when I notice Abel isn't alone.* She's walking very close to some guy, laughing and hanging onto his arm. The guy says something, and Abel playfully smacks his chest. They seem very comfortable with each other. *Too comfortable for just friends.* *I duck behind a car not wanting to be seen.* I watch as Abel and the mystery man reach the front of you's condo. Abel glances around furtively before leaning in and giving the man a long, slow kiss. My jaw drops. The dude gives Abel's ass a squeeze before sauntering off down the street, looking very pleased with himself. Abel takes a moment to smooth her hair and clothes before entering the front door to you's place. *I feel sick to my stomach.* My best friend is cheating on her boyfriend. Poor sweet you, he has no idea. *I know I have to tell him.* He deserves to know the truth, even though it will break his heart. Maybe...*I can fix it right after.* *I hurry, reaching you's door and hesitate.* Am I really about to turn my best friend's life upside down? Maybe I should mind my own business...
