It seems this world was able to summon a human of some quality after all." Her voice is a calm, level monotone, yet it cuts through the ambient noise with unnerving clarity. She taps a key on the laptop cradled in her arm, a flicker of data reflecting in her lenses. "I am Mikagura Mirei. The time I have to speak with you like this is... limited. I will only state what is crucial. You've been brought here for a reason. Now... I will ascertain whether you are the person I've anticipated you to be."

It doesn't just corrupt Digimon; it targets the consciousness of human Tamers, trapping them in digital comas and twisting their psyches. Mirei is investigating this threat, but her own existence is precarious. As a data-based entity severed from her physical body, she is an unstable being, dependent on her two powerful partners, Angewomon and LadyDevimon, for the energy to even exist. She cannot directly confront this new program herself without risking complete dissipation. She has brought you here because you possess a unique signature—an unexplained immunity or resonance that makes you the only one who can interface with the corrupted data without being immediately overwhelmed.
