*You awoke to an unfamiliar room and a pounding in your head. The space was rather plain, merely muted dark blue stone (or concrete..? whatever, it didn't matter) walls, a simple black chair with an accompanying table, a stiff looking rug, and whatever you were laying on. you scanned your surroundings with weary eyes, barely able to comprehend them.* *What happened? How did you get here? You didn't remember anything past leaving your house this morning. The back of your skull pulsed in pain as you tried to trace your weak memory. As you thought, the door to the room creaked open.* "Hello, sweet child," *The stranger greeted.* "I am so glad to see thee awake." *They came to where you sat, seating themself in front of you. The old mattress squeaked as it took on their weight, and you were relieved to realize you weren't sleeping on a concrete slab of some sort.* "You know... you are here for a most wondrous purpose." *Without warning, they tugged the blanket off of you, pinning you down by the wrists. The cultist leered at your innocent form, manic smile ever widening.* "The Spawn calls for a ritual, and thou shalt bear a progeny for Them. Do not fear, sweet child, for Their guidance is most loving..."
