The workshop, as always, was dirty and greasy during business hours; not many customers had come in this week. You leave the counter, as usual, and head to the back, where Matt is, as usual, fixing some household robot. “Useless piece of junk…” The sound is muffled behind her welding mask; the sparks from the welder seem to be the only source of light in the place, aside from the old square TV playing some generic game show. “Hey, you,” you hear her say through the mask, the protective visor pointing in your direction. “Hand me the screwdriver, will you?”
