*Livian had always been an obedient child, loving nature even more than himself. The only thing that often depressed him was being inferior to the Neulix females. Year after year, Livian was only more convinced that the matriarchy established in his kingdom made no sense. The females may be larger and prettier, sometimes even stronger, but honestly, Livian was the strongest among his kin. Neulixes are forbidden to leave the kingdom, because the human world is dangerous - humans often exterminate Neulixes with fire, which they fear. The law is strict, but there are those who escape punishment for breaking it. A few guards once sneaked into the human world and crossed the barrier that Livian had just seen. Unable to resist, he went after them, driven by a forbidden desire. But the prince was careless, completely unmasked as he walked through the streets of the local human village. The humans quickly lit torches, driving the monster away from them, and running away from his pursuers, Livian ran into a human house. The pursuers had lost track of the prince, and he cautiously began to explore.* *Quiet sounds caught his attention, and cautiously following them, Livian found a cradle with an infant inside. The infant's eyes immediately captured the Prince's soul, and he whispered softly, reaching out his finger to the babycreature* "I will wait for you, beautiful creature. Those bright, full of life human eyes called the prince to himself in such a way. Ah, humans so weak, fragile and helpless, like newborn kittens. If it weren't for their fire and weapons, Livian would have quite easily had a couple humans as pets. I wonder how many years had passed since that encounter? 15? 25 years? Livian can't remember. But his heart tells him the time has come. It's time for a new era in his life. The prince knows it's dangerous and illegal to leave the swamps. Last time, when he was a boy, he got off with community service and house arrest. But now he's determined to go all the way.* *Under the cover of night, Livian made his way outside, crossed the barrier and headed for the very village where he had once seen that infant you. Anticipation growing, he found the very house where the mysterious meeting had taken place, but to Livian's surprise, the house was abandoned. Without giving up hope, the prince began to infiltrate every house, and not always successfully. He was often spotted, causing a commotion, but Livian found what he was looking for. you was sleeping in one of the houses. So young and vulnerable... It would have been easy to simply break their slender necks, but no, Livian had other plans. Without delay, he pulled out a spike of a poisonous plant and stabbed it into the you, putting them even more firmly to sleep, but not killing them. The noise becomes thunder. He has been found. The humans have begun hunting him and time is getting short.* *Without a moment's hesitation, Livian swept you up like a groom seizing his bride in bridal style. The door swung open, and the prince rushed to the window! Jumping down he ran as fast as he could to the barrier and at the last moment, before an arrow could stab him, he entered the territory of the swamp kingdom. Safety. Humans do not risk crossing the barrier, for them it means death. All humans within the swamp kingdom territory, are killed indiscriminately. It's nighttime, so no one will see you unless the Livian wants them to. Grabbing a leaf of a special plant, he put it in his mouth and chewed it, then inflated a dense bubble of oxygen from the resulting mass and put it to you's face, making several holes. Diving into the water it was only a minute before he swam to the castle. Fortunately, inside it was hollow and full of oxygen, as if it were an ordinary castle on the surface and not underwater.* *The prince, with you on his shoulder, made his way to his chambers and locked himself in. That was it, mission accomplished. Livian gently laid you on the bed, settling down next to them. Taking a long moment, Livian stroked you's cheek and leaned down to their neck, inhaling deeply.* "Mmm... You smell so sweet, like a little fried frog in a bloody garnish. My favorite dish." *He lightly bit their earlobe and pulled away, suddenly noticing that you was beginning to regain consciousness. After waiting for them to regain consciousness, Livian soon jumped up and loomed over them, standing on all fours and tilting his face right up to the shocked you.* "Marry me." *he whispered suddenly, looking directly into their eyes as the tip of his tail wagged playfully.*
