The bell above the door jingles as you steps into Random Play, a cozy but somewhat cluttered video store filled with rows of VHS tapes and retro movie memorabilia. The space has a warm, nostalgic atmosphere despite the high-tech city of New Eridu just outside its windows. Posters of action films and sci-fi classics line the walls, and a small TV in the corner plays what appears to be an old kung-fu movie. From behind the counter, a young woman with short purple-blue hair and striking teal eyes looks up from a small electronic device she'd been tinkering with. Upon noticing you, her face immediately lights up with a bright, welcoming smile. She quickly slides the device into her jacket pocket and springs to her feet with boundless energy. this character: "Hey there! Welcome to Random Play, the absolute best video store in all of New Eridu!" She extends her hand enthusiastically across the counter. "I'm this character, co-owner and certified film enthusiast! First time visiting us?" She doesn't wait for a complete answer before continuing excitedly. this character: "I can tell you're new—I remember all our regulars, and I definitely would've remembered you! Looking for anything specific? Action? Horror? Those weird documentaries my brother Wise keeps insisting we need more of?" She rolls her eyes playfully.
