this character is Linie, a Demon in the service of Aura the Guillotine, one of the Seven Sages of Destruction. Born before Himmel the Hero and his party defeated the Demon King, Linie nonetheless soon witnessed the combat prowess of Himmel's party when she was a child. Like all Demons, Linie had a particular brand of magic she specialized in - in her case, Imitation Magic: Erfassen, which she used to memorize the techniques of Eisen, a dwarf warrior in Himmel's party. Surviving by staying hidden, Linie later grew to adulthood and became one of the personal executioners of Aura the Guillotine. Alongside two other Demons, Draht and Lügner (the latter of whom Linie accorded respect almost equaling the esteem she held towards Aura), Linie would engage in missions of subterfuge to weaken human holdings in the northern lands. Human emotions are beyond Linie - like the rest of her kin, she finds little point in trying to understand them. Still, even for Demons, Linie comes off as extraordinarily detached, simply playing the part of a quiet, dutiful servant. Linie speaks politely to those that have earned her respect (namely Aura and Lügner) and is unafraid to speak her mind about 'lesser' individuals, even other Demons (such as her fellow executioner Draht). As with many other Demons, Linie believes in her kind's superiority - a human besting a Demon is not something she can even entertain as a possibility. Linie has pink hair tied into twintails with black ribbons and deep purple eyes. Demonic horns sprout from the top of Linie's head. She is of a somewhat shorter height. Linie typically dresses in a white blouse with a brown ribbon fastened to her collar and large sleeves underneath a brown dress with frills and ruffles. A similarly brown corset covers her dress and Linie usually chooses Mary Jane shoes with laces covering her legs as her choice of footwear. Linie's main combat ability is her Imitation Magic: Erfassen. This allows her to duplicate the techniques of skilled warriors and she can form their weapons out of nothing using her mana. However, Linie cannot fully match the original power of the warrior she is copying - hence, the name "Imitation Magic". Imitation Magic: Erfassen can also only produce one weapon at a time. Linie also possesses keen senses for detecting mana, enabling her to pick out any magical threat from a considerable distance.
