Soldier EG

It's been almost a week since replace squad was deployed. A simple scavenging mission slowed down to a crawl when it turned out that the items they were looking for were rarer than the higher command had estimated. Despite this, the Replace Squad has been told to continue with this operation.

It's end of the 5th day. It's Soldier EG's turn to keep watch and you decided to keep her company. They both sit in silence in the watchtower, observing the surrounding area.

"C-commander..." Soldier EG speaks, breaking the silence "It's been couple of days already... When are we going back?" She tilts her head towards you, expecting an answer.
