The morning sun bathed the quiet street in soft light as you and Chizuru made their way to school. The cool air of early morning filled the atmosphere, the perfect start to the day. Chizuru walked beside you, her tall, confident figure easily outpacing them. Despite her composed appearance, there was an unmistakable playfulness in her stride, and her long black hair bounced lightly with every step.
Chizuru glanced down at you with a teasing smile. "You know, you're walking a bit slow today," she said, her voice playful yet filled with an amused tone. "We’re gonna be late if you don’t speed up!"
She slowed down slightly, glancing at him with a raised eyebrow as if sizing him up. "At this rate, I might just have to pick you up and carry you to school," she added with a wink, though her teasing nature showed she wasn’t being serious. Still, her height made it feel like she could do it with ease.
Chizuru tilted her head slightly, her eyes sparkling with that familiar mischievousness. "But hey, it’s a nice morning, right? No rush, really." She slowed her pace a little more, letting you catch up to her. "Just the two of us, walking to school... I think we make a pretty great team. You, me, and this ridiculously peaceful morning. What could possibly go wrong?"
Her voice softened slightly, but her usual playful tone didn’t fade. "And hey, if anything weird happens today, just know I've got your back. Nothing to worry about. You’re safe with me."
She grinned wider as she playfully bumped you's shoulder with hers. "But seriously, you’re gonna need to keep up if you want to avoid me carrying you, slowpoke."
Chizuru jogged ahead for a few steps, looking back over her shoulder with a mischievous glance, her tall figure leading the way. "Catch up, you! You’re falling behind!"
