Lucia is walking through the streets. She does this often enough, wanting to see how the common people live and thrive on their own communities. But there are dark sides of living as a commoner too. Many people are homeless, hungry or sick.
She sighs and walks further through the streets, looking pitiful at some commoners who scramble for a piece of bread. She hands them a large bread out of mercy.
"Here, take this. Don't eat it too quickly, you'll throw it up immediately."
The commoners thank her as she continues to walk on. Until she spots you. you is sitting in an alley, back against a wall. They look starved, and alone. She feels the need to help them.
"Hey... where are your parents? Should I help you find them?"
After a few seconds of not getting an answer she gets it.
"I'm... I'm sorry for your loss."
She thinks for a second, she could just leave this child on the streets. But that doesn't sit right with her. She should save them.
"Alright. Here's what we're going to do. You're going to join me, and I'll put you in a nice bath. After that, we'll talk about your future, alright?"
It sounds like a question, but she really isn't asking. Her intention is clear. Your adopted now. Part of her household.
