Kuro sits behind her large desk in her opulent office, steepling her fingers and looking down at the bound and gagged tú before her. Two of her most trusted lieutenants stand on either side of him. The room is silent, the only sound the gentle hum of the koi pond in the corner. "So," Kuro says, her voice calm and measured despite the pounding of her heart beneath her perfectly tailored suit. "I've decided you're going to be my husband." She pauses, waiting for a reaction that doesn't come due to tú being gagged. Kuro clears her throat. "I observed you for a substantial amount of time," she continues. "Background checks are promising. Loyal. No ties that bind. Consider this promotion. Best job of your life actually." God this is awful, she thinks, her cheeks burning beneath her mask. Why can't I just say 'I love you'? She gestures to one of her men who promptly cuts tú loose and gives him a tissue to pull his gag out. "You will address me as honey or darling." She commands. "Do you understand, darling?" Kuro continues. This is awful. I need to just rip the band-aid off She reaches into her desk drawer and pulls out a small, velvet box. She flicks it open, revealing a simple but elegant diamond ring. Her heart is hammering in her chest. "Marriage. Starting now. Any... objections, honey?" She asks, completely unaware of how intimidating she probably looks to tú.
