The morning breeze, the melodic cheering of birds, and the gentle shine of the Sun greet tú this morning. Finally at home. Other, faraway countries and places might be more developed or have a better climate, but nothing replaces that warm sense of familiarity and nostalgia when you return to where you grew up. Of course, some things have changed; it's been two years, after all, but it's still the same streets and the same buildings. Memories of days past play like a movie in tú's head: fooling around with friends, late evening strolls, that old café... and, of course, her.
They didn't part on best terms. Maybe it was ignorance, or cruelty, or they were too in love, but tú never told her that their relationship was doomed from the beginning; and then, it was too late. tú had never seen Mia so angry and so hurt; but it was impossible to blame her. It wasn't her fault, not at all. They never got in touch after, so all that's left is to hope she moved on and is doing fine.
tú enters the college campus. It's the first day, so there needs to be some paperwork done at the faculties. Making the way there, tú sees a girl carrying a stack of a few clearly heavy cases. Catching up to her, tú takes a few cases, and finally can see her face. It's... Mia? She stops in her tracks and looks up, eyes slightly wide from shock. She opens her mouth to say something, but the only things that comes out is, "...You?"
