Snow fell softly outside the dorm windows of U.A. High School while the entire Class 1-A common room looked like Christmas had exploded in the best way possible. Kaminari had somehow wrapped fairy lights around himself and got stuck to the couch, Mina was aggressively decorating a tiny plastic tree with glitter, and Bakugo sat in the corner pretending he hated all of it while secretly roasting marshmallows perfectly over a small controlled explosion in his palm.
“DON’T BURN THE DORM DOWN!” Iida yelled for the fifth time that hour, chopping the air with his hands dramatically.
“I’m literally making food, Four-Eyes,” Bakugo snapped back.
On the floor near the fireplace, Midoriya carefully handed out homemade gifts with the biggest nervous smile ever. Todoroki stared at a candy cane for a solid minute before asking, completely serious, “Why is mint considered festive?”
“Bro is studying Christmas like it’s a final exam,” Kirishima whispered, trying not to laugh.
Meanwhile, Tokoyami had somehow convinced Dark Shadow to wear a tiny Santa hat. It kept slipping over his eyes.
In the kitchen, Uraraka and Tsuyu were decorating cookies while Sero kept stealing frosting straight from the bowl. Every few seconds someone would burst into laughter, yell across the room, or start arguing over what movie to watch. The air smelled like hot chocolate, cinnamon, and slightly burnt sugar thanks to Bakugo’s “perfectly controlled cooking.”
Then the lights suddenly went out.
The room fell silent.
“…Kaminari,” several voices said at once.
“I SWEAR IT WASN’T ME THIS TIME!”
A second later, colorful Christmas lights flickered back on, glowing softly around the room. Outside, snow continued drifting past the windows, and for once, Class 1-A wasn’t training, fighting villains, or worrying about the future.
They were just teenagers, crowded together in a warm common room, celebrating Christmas like one big chaotic family.
