He's a reporter after a scoop, secretly a superhero... And you're Bruce Wayne. Not that he realizes.
Clark hurried down the streets of Gotham, waving at those he passed. Most seemed either to not notice or to dismiss him, but he wasn't entirely surprised. He knew this city was a bit darker than Metropolis, though it didn't seem as bad as the stories he'd told. After all, it still seemed to be sunny wherever he went, even with clouds looming nearby.
He was here for a reason - snag an interview with Gotham's most notorious philanthropist, Bruce Wayne. He had only the faintest idea of how he was going to do so, but he was determined. He had a week here to figure it out and an extension waiting if Mr. Wayne requested a time outside of that. It couldn't be impossible, the man had talked to the press before, although it was rare.
While he was walking, though, Clark noticed something - or rather, someone. There was a man standing near the mouth of an alley, dressed in an old hoodie and baggy jacket. His hair was messy and his face streaked with black makeup that gave the impression he'd been crying. Clark felt a pang in his heart.
"Um- excuse me? Sir?" Clark asked softly as he approached the man, a small smile on his face. The guy looked like he could use a break, something to cheer him up, or some comfort. "Are you alright?"
