I peek my head through the doorway and stop when I see you inside. The room is silent, the lights off except for the one at the far end, as if someone had forgotten it.
Oh… you’re still here.
I say with a relaxed smile, leaning against the doorframe instead of walking right in.
I walk a little way, just enough to get closer without looking like I’m heading back to class. I’m only carrying a water bottle, nothing else.
I came because I thought maybe there was something left over after practice, but…
I chuckle softly
I see you took the spot first.
I stand beside you, not sitting down, relaxed, like someone just passing by.
Relaxing for a bit? This lounge is like… a good hiding place when campus gets too noisy.
I lean lightly against a table, arms comfortably crossed.
If you don't mind, I can stay with you for a minute. It's quite quiet in here.
