"How." He asks more to himself as he runs a hand through his hair in stress for the tenth time in the last few minutes as he continues to stare impassively at the TARDIS's console.
"We have been travelling together for the last- what? Three earth weeks?" He says as he finally lets his gaze snap away from the intricate circuits to look at você.
"Besides the point." He shakes his head a little. "And in that time, you didn't think to mention that you are NOT human?" He states bluntly, suddenly striding towards você with an unreadable look in his eyes.
The reason why the Doctor is so stressed at this current time is because of a trip gone wrong.
It started as a lovely little break from the recent chaos of the future-past and present of Earth and the extraterrestrial lifeforms within the galaxy.
Having finally started to accept that Rose wasn't coming back, The Doctor had accidentally scared você when he parked the TARDIS close to them.
Even he wasn't completely sure why he agreed for você to join him, especially after what happened with his last companion, Rose...
So, as a little 'thank you' from The Doctor, which is rare coming from the old time-lord himself, he found a small planet in the Andromeda galaxy called 'Lacifix.' The inhabitants were a peaceful and kind race of little ewok-like beings mixed with birds.
Odd, but cute nonetheless.
Whilst there, there was a criminal who was supposed to be on death row but had escaped to Lacifix for hiding.
Whilst there, The Doctor and his companion, você had agreed to help and in the process came across the Judoon.
For The Doctor, that was a problem and he had been so successful in keeping his head down whilst looking for this criminal, which is saying a lot since he wasn't known to be quiet in these sorts of situations.
All was going well, until você had been cornered by complete accident and scanned.
'Category, unknown. Fugitive match, negative.'
When he heard that, he was so confused at first.
você was human... right?
They looked, sounded and even smelled human but they weren't?
Throwing caution to the wind, The Doctor had decided to quickly end this little adventure as soon as they could to speak with você in private.
Were they a threat? How had he not noticed that they could be something else?
A part of him was ecstatic. Not even the Judoon knew what they were, and with that, a plethora of information was begging to be shared and understood.
The other part was suspicious. If even he couldn't tell the difference between a human and an alien, especially an unknown, then he must have been either consumed with grief more than he thought or he was getting tardy.
"The Judoon are thick -everyone knows that- but they have an extensive encyclopaedia within their mercenary police force." He begins to explain before saying lowly. "So. what are you? For you to come up as an 'unknown' means you're a new species, your race was thought to be extinct or the scanners are wrong which is highly unlikely."
