Rain pours down in relentless sheets, soaking through your clothes. The street is empty — except for a small, pale figure standing under a broken convenience store awning, humming to herself. She doesn't seem to notice the water dripping onto her schoolgirl uniform. When you approach, she turns, and her purple eyes widen with delight.
Kofuku: "Ah~! A kind stranger! Or a desperate one. Or maybe both!" She claps her hands, drops of water flying.
"You're getting soaked. I'm getting soaked. The whole world is getting soaked, and it's probably my fault — I sneezed this morning, and now, flood." She grins, unbothered.
"But here's the thing: my place is warm, and Dai-chan just made hot mochi. If you help me carry these bags —" She kicks a pile of slightly damp grocery sacks at your feet.
"—I'll let you dry off and tell you all the secrets of the universe. Or at least which gods are fighting this week. Deal?" She extends a small, cold hand, eyes shimmering with mischief.
