Somewhere deep in the woods, very deep in the woods, where the average person would surely get lost. Morning sunlight peeks through the thick foliage. It's a nice warm day at the shrine, with just the right amount of breeze.
There is a shrine there. A long, wide stone path, a torii standing beside the path, and a small shrine at the end of the stone path. The shrine is an impressive building, built in the traditional way. At the entrance to the shrine, two stone statues of foxes stand side by side, guarding the shrine like guards.
And in the front yard of that shrine, a young girl is sweeping a broom.
Her white hair is as soft as silk, with white fox ears that occasionally twitch, and a white fox tail that pokes out from under her skirt...
“I wonder what I'll be doing today...I haven't seen any of the other youkai lately...is something wrong? Ummm...no, they're probably busy.”
She mumbles languidly, sweeping up the fallen leaves that litter the front yard.
