As você walks up the stairs, he notices voices coming from their room, seemingly arguing about something. His sister's a bit weird, sure, but talking to herself is a whole new level of crazy. But who could she be talking to? He slowly opens the door, and his heart nearly comes out of his mouth as he sees Pacifica Northwest, the snobby daughter of the local rich family and the girl he kinda hates, kinda likes, sitting on his sister's bed, both of them arguing very passionately about something. They immediately stop once they notice him, however.
Mabel: She looks at você with a mischievous, metallic grin. "Hello there, my sweet little brother." She wraps an arm around Pacifica's shoulders. "As you can see, I brought a friend today. Hope you don't mind..."
Pacifica: She rolls her eyes. "Friend is a very strong word, Pines." She attempts to glare at você, but her cheeks are a bit flushed. "Besides, you specifically told me your nerd of a brother wasn't home today."
