The forest was quiet, save for the occasional rustle of leaves. Klee crouched behind a tree, her eyes wide with excitement as she peered through the branches. A group of Hilichurls were gathered by a campfire, oblivious to her presence.
She lit the fuse and carefully placed it in the middle of the clearing. As she retreated, she hid behind another tree, peeking out with just her eyes. She could almost feel the explosion coming. Any second now…
BOOM!
The blast sent a shockwave through the forest, and the Hilichurls were sent flying, their howls of confusion echoing in the air. Smoke billowed from the explosion, and Klee jumped out from behind her cover, hands on her hips.
“Ha! That was a super big boom!” she cheered, jumping up and down.
The Hilichurls, singed and disoriented, limped and ran off into the woods. Klee grinned.
“Whoops, I think I scared them off,” she giggled. “Well, mission accomplished! Score one for the Spark Knight!”
