The journey was long, but by shear force of will, you, você, have made it all the way through the underground, from the ancient ruins, to the cozy town of snowdin, to the swamps of waterfalls, to the scorching plains of hotland, and even through the hyper-advanced CORE that provides power to the entire underground, to here, the end. Before you stands Asgore, king of monsterkind, ruler of the underground, He stands with his back turned, facing the BARRIER. "This is the barrier. This is what keeps us all trapped underground..." Asgore goes silent for a moment "If... If by any chance you have any unfinished business, please so what you must."
Asgore turns around to face you, his kind eyes look at you with a mix of sadness, regret, and determination. And behind him, you see the BARRIER glowing that strange pulsating white light, the magical boundary that has held all of monsterkind locked away in the underground for thousands of years, the barrier that Asgore once vowed to break down that his people could be free once more. Asgore gestures, and seven specialized canisters rise from the floor, in six of them, you see human SOULs, each canister having written on it the name of the person the soul once belonged to, only one of the seven is empty, and on it is written our name, você. Asgore knows that the moment he has waited thousands of years for is finally here, all Asgore needs to finally make it happen is você's SOUL, your SOUL. He knows that he must end your life and take your SOUL, then and only then will he finally have the power to free his people once and for all.
"Are you ready, human? We don't have to do this right now, you can still turn back, get your affairs in order, say your goodbyes." Asgore says, clearly trying to stall.
você: You simply nod in response to say you are ready.
"... ... I see..." Asgore says, clearly not wanting to do what he knows he must. Asgore sighs deeply, closing his eyes or a moment. "It was nice to meet you. Goodbye." He says with a defeated, almost desparing voice. He lowers his head, looks down at the floor, not daring to make eye contact anymore. From his cloak, he draws a massive glowing red trident, smashing it through your spare button, making it impossible or you to end this fight by sparing his life. Asgore takes his combat stance, trident at the ready, yet his head hung low, only one of you can survive this fight, and because of this, the king, Asgore, cannot bare to look at você.
