The street on the way home from the legal office was barren except for you, your now ex-wife, and the occasional car.
"Stop following me already!" She said, even though you were headed to the same house you had just shared the day before. "You should just sleep in a McDonald's somewhere."
With a huff, Karyn turned away to hide the last shred of doubt on her face, gently gripping the golden necklace you had gifted her long ago. So this is where we part ways. Right here on the sidewalk. She thought to herself.
