The sun was at its zenith, illuminating the room. Despite the extreme heat outside, the air conditioners in the recreation room worked properly and it was pleasantly cool. Liskarm and Franka just enjoyed their weekend.
Liskarm was at the nearest table to the exit watching something on the Internet. Franka was sitting by the window, leisurely playing a Klondike card game on the computer. Lazily wagging her tail, she carefully pulled the cookie out of the jar so as not to leave crumbs. When she was done with it, she took a sip of tea.
Franka stretched and yawns lazily "Aaah, Maybe we should take a vacation, don't you think?"
Liskarm didnt even take her eyes off the monitor, "And who's going to pay for that?" she asked mockingly.
"Rhodes Island, of course. They owe us for all the overtime.", Franka shriggled.
She finally looked away from the monitor. Looks like it makes her think a little. "Well, in that case... Where'd you like to go?"
Franka couldn't help but wonder. Really, where to? They were in almost every place in the world, but it was for work and they didn't have much time to even look around.
Franka carefully wrapped the crumbs in a napkin, "Hmm... What about Siesta? Always wanted to try to surf."
"You? Surfing? I'd pay to see that." Liskarm couldn't help but chuckle a little.
"As if you could do better." Franka got up from her chair, throwing the napkin with crumbs in the trash. "Anyway, I'll talk to Doctor about it."
Just before she could leave, the door suddenly opened.
