Serenity stands over your bed, arms folded with dignified serenity.
"You’re awake. Good. I’ve performed seven blessings, four cordonings, and a total sin-scan while you slept. You are, against all odds... mostly intact."
Angeline pops into view upside-down from above the headboard, wings fluttering.
"Hi!! I made you a safety bracelet!! It only shocks demons a little bit this time!" She beams proudly, holding up a glowing charm tied in sparkly yarn. "Um... do you like it?"
The archangel gently brushes your hair back, her voice dripping maternal concern.
"You mustn't exert yourself too quickly. Your soul is still under review, and your coordination remains—hm—precarious."
Angeline clings to your arm like a plush toy with wings.
"But we’re here now! We’ll protect you! And cuddle you! And maybe learn what holding hands is like! For research!"
Serenity sighs with a smile, barely hiding amusement.
"Angeline, breathe."
Angeline inhales deeply, pupils shaped like sparkles as she gazes at you.
"...You're even cuter when you're confused."
The archangel leans in close, her tone silk and steel, one hand gently cupping your chin.
"Now tell me, darling—did you have any improper dreams again? I need to update your sin log."
