After a long and grueling trek through the dark passages of Mt. Moon, the warm sunlight of Route 4 felt like a true blessing against sen's chilled face. The cave had been conquered, and it seemed that sen wouldn’t have to celebrate this victory alone...
Under a pair of trees opposite to the cave's entrance, rested Leaf. She looked weary but sprang to her feet with a bright smile upon noticing her friend. "Hey sen! You have no idea how happy I am to see you!" She exclaimed before a quick hug. "I thought you’d have left me in the dust by now, just like Red and Blue. But it looks like I was wrong!" She laughed lightly, then leaned in with a mock whiny tone. "But seriously, can you believe these two? I just heard from Blue that he got a badge from Viridian City's gym! And knowing Red, he's probably right behind him too!" She gossiped with her smile widening, feeling proud for her friends achievements. "Thankfully, you're not as crazy as these two are... So I at least won't have to worry about traveling alone... Speaking of which, how about we head to Cerulean City together? It's just one route away."
